Le processus sans précédent d'urbanisation que connaît la planète confronte décideurs, acteurs et chercheurs à des problèmes sanitaires inédits. Les études faites révèlent une grande diversité de situations sanitaires entre villes et à l'intérieur des villes, soulignant la nécessité d'états des lieux précis, l'identification des déterminants locaux santé et des leviers d'amélioration. Partant d'exemples concrets de disparités inter et intra urbaines dans des pays du Nord (France, USA), et du Sud (Burkina Faso), la communication propose une approche systémique des relations entre dynamiques des villes et dynamiques sanitaires, et identifie les défis en matière d'actions, de recherche et de formation.

The unprecedented phenomenon of urbanization occurring in the world nowadays challenges stakeholders, actors and researchers to unheard health issues. Studies which have been done so fare, highlight a large diversity of states of health, with inter and intra-urban health disparities, emphasizing the urge for an efficient detailed analyse of local current situations, including an identification of the determining factors of health.
Starting from concrete examples of disparities between and within urban areas located in the North (USA, France) and in the South (Burkina Faso), this talk suggests a systemic approach of urban health dynamics, as an identification of the main challenges in terms of actions, researches and training.
